Bring your Toddlers to Glenview House in Filey!
As parents of two toddlers, we know exactly what packing for holidays is like and how much stuff you end up having to take with you! So, when setting up Glenview House, we have tried to make it as comfortable and easy for you and your little ones as possible.
A change is as good as a rest...but how about both!
One of the most important things to try and achieve for a good holiday is a little bit of extra sleep! That is why we have equipped Glenview House with Blackout Blinds or Blackout Curtains in every bedroom. It will help to keep the little ones asleep as well as yourselves!
We have also provided a wooden cot for the smallest members of your family as well as two travel cots should you need them.
And if you have slightly older children who are getting used to an adult bed, we have bed guards available so you don’t have to bring those with you.
Dine and play together as a family
When it comes to dining together, we provide two high chairs and even a bouncy chair if you have a baby in your party.
In the garden, we have a decked area and a lawn all of which is fully
enclosed making it safe your children and pets. And if you want a bit
of peace and quiet, there is an awesome Mud Kitchen for the kids to play
with while you rest on the cushions and relax.
Taking your kids to the beach
If you are venturing out, Glenview House has pram-friendly access with no steps and the pathway to the beach is pedestrianised and smooth, ideal for taking the buggy down.
The path leads to Royal Parade – on the right of the slipway is 3 miles of beach which is dog friendly all year round and on the left is a section that has restrictions during the summer months.
Filey beach has wide stretches of smooth sand making it safe for play and digging the biggest sand castles when the tide is out.
It has even been described as a “perfect beach for kids to explore”
Along the promenade you can get some lunch at the café and then pop over to the ice-cream shop for a nice treat afterwards.
Plenty to do in the park
And if you fancy a change from the beach or need to occupy the children for an hour or so, Glenview House is set opposite Glen Gardens Park which has a playground, café, boating lake, trampolines and crazy golf.
